SOFAR Unleashes French PV & ESS Potential at EnerGaïa 2023
Montpellier, December 15, 2023 – SOFAR, the global leading provider of all-scenario PV & ESS solutions, showcases its solar and storage solutions covering residential, C&I and utility applications at EnerGaïa, presenting France with a path to a greener future.
With the European Parliament adopting the power market reform plan in July, the EU utility storage market is expected to usher in an outbreak. In that context, SOFAR introduces its flagship utility storage system PowerMaster, which addresses key challenges by maximizing power output while minimizing costs. With its 3+2 safety system, PowerMaster ensures reliable and uninterrupted operation at all times. Notably, the hybrid cooling system sets an industry standard by reducing heat dissipation loss by approximately 30%. Moreover, the modular design allows for flexible expansion, enabling a single chamber storage capacity of up to 3.93MWh, catering to diverse capacity requirements.
In the meantime, SOFAR introduces PowerIn tailored for C&I energy storage. The pack-level active balancing helps increase usable battery energy by 5%. With the compatibility with 182/210mm high power modules, the DC/AC ratio reaches 1.5+ with lower LCOE. In addition to AFCI, it features 3-layer protection, thermal runaway protection and cloud monitoring to ensure optimal safety. To further simplify O&M, PowerIn offers modular design combined with maintenance-free spare batteries for direct replacement, significantly lowering labor costs and initial investment costs.
In addition to C&I and utility solutions, SOFAR also unveils its residential portfolio including all-in-one intelligent ESS PowerAll, microinverter system PowerNano, HYD 5-10KTL-3, etc.
Allen Cao, Head of SOFAR Europe, is optimistic about the opportunities presented by the energy storage industry. He emphasizes the significance of energy storage in achieving carbon neutrality within the ever-changing energy sector. "SOFAR is committed to delving into further potential in residential and C&I ESS. Our focus lies in enhancing system affordability and safety, thereby driving the adoption of renewable energy and fostering a sustainable lifestyle shift in France.”
